The UJEP rector’s awards in 2023 for successful personalities of our University also go to the Department of Physics
This year, the 23rd annual ceremony of awarding the UJEP Rector’s Awards took place. At the awarding ceremony held on December 14, 2023, a total of 18 personalities from our university received the Rector’s Award for 2023, including a representative from our Department.
Mgr. Pavlína Mimrová, together with Mgr. Hana Burdová (Faculty of Environment), received the Rector’s award for student with outstanding achievements in the field of creative activities in technology, natural sciences, and economics. Mgr. Pavlína Mimrová is a doctoral student in the Computer Modeling in Science and Technology program at the Department of Physics. For a long time, she has been dedicated to molecular simulations of hydrates of alkali metal halides and the development of modern polarizable models of ions to describe the structure of these crystals.
We extend our congratulations to Ms. Mimrová and other awardees and wish them continued success.
