Success in the SOČ regional round
At our department, high school students can collaborate with academic staff and participate in the high school vocational activity (SOČ) competition. During this competition, students have the opportunity to lead their own research projects. Michael Schedivý, a student from SPŠE and SOA in Žatec (www.soazatec.cz, www.spsezatec.cz), achieved great success. He advanced from the regional round, which took place on April 11, 2024, at Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, to the national round (June 21-23). Under the guidance of Associate Professor František Lustig, the student presented his work “Remote Experiments with Arduino” in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications.
We congratulate the student on his excellent result and wish him the best of luck in the national round.
