We Have Successfully Completed the First Year of Workshops for Certified and Non-Certified Physics Teachers
The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, implemented a pilot series of ten workshops during the 2024/25 school year. These workshops were designed for both certified and non-certified physics teachers and focused on the use of experiments in physics education and problem-solving in physics. Ten teachers from primary and secondary schools took part in the program.
The participants gave very positive feedback on the workshops – they especially appreciated the opportunity to develop or enhance their experimental skills and to gain inspiration for their physics teaching. Equally valuable was the mutual exchange of experience and peer support among the teachers. More detailed information about the focus of the workshops can be found here.
